Position Summary: The Dining Services Team Member supports service in the cafeteria and delivery of food to neighborhoods in a way that honors individual elders and staff needs, with a commitment to customer service.

Requirements

• Desire and ability to interact and build relationships with elders and care for their needs.
• Willingness to embrace and exemplify St. John's Brand Characteristics of being respectful, friendly, responsive, compassionate, innovative and fun.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in food service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prep and stocking cafeteria and neighborhoods.
• Prep and serve of hot and cold food in the cafeteria.
• Maintains safe food handling and storage practices.
• Expedites food to elders, staff on neighborhoods as needed.
• Professionally fields requests for neighborhood meals.
• Works closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal delivery service.
• May support utility as needed (washing dishes, pots, and maintaining a clean work environment).
• Works register in cafeteria.
• Reports and checks out with assistant manager/ Manager on Duty prior to end of shift.
