About The Position

The Leavenworth School District’s dining service partner, Chartwells K12, is offering a paid internship program for high school students considering a career in culinary arts and/or those seeking practical working experience. This opportunity will give a real-world perspective upon which to base future career choices and enhance the student educational experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of dining service at the assigned location
• Work with the Chartwells K12 staff, kitchen manager and building administration to support efficient kitchen operations
• Participate in trainings related to food service needs
• Address individual dining needs and supports
• Assist in administering meal service, including but not limited to preparation, dining service and clean-up.
• Other duties as assigned by Chartwells K12 staff or USD 453 staff
