About The Position

This position is for a Dining Room Manager at Pinnacle Groves, a senior living community located in Rogers, AR. The role is crucial for ensuring an impeccable dining experience for residents, focusing on a welcoming atmosphere, efficient service, and maintaining a tidy dining area. The manager is also responsible for observing residents' dietary habits and attendance. Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents
  • Must have and maintain a food server permit as required by the county
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with Residents
  • Positive and energetic attitude
  • Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting people after a fall
  • Must be criminally cleared
  • Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks
  • Good physical health shall be verified by a health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment
  • Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience leading a hospitality team preferred

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the dining room looks (and stays) perfect
  • Ensuring the service residents receive is impeccable
  • Greeting residents and making them feel welcome
  • Being present in the dining room, mingling, entertaining, and fostering an environment where residents can connect
  • Prepping a table for service, salads for the next meal, or rolling silverware
  • Bussing tables
  • Sweeping floors
  • Communicating with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals
