About The Position

The Dining Room Assistant plays a key role in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment at Q BBQ & Fixin's (inside Spring & Main). This position supports guest flow in a fast-casual BBQ setting. This role ensures the dining room stays clean, stocked , and efficient so guests can enjoy a smooth, high-quality experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a welcoming and positive presence in the dining room
• Assist guests as needed with directions, questions, or the ordering/pickup process
• Support smooth guest flow between bar ordering, seating, and kitchen pickup areas
• Bus, clean, and sanitize tables, chairs, and booths quickly and efficiently
• Reset tables to maintain readiness for incoming guests
• Monitor dining room cleanliness throughout the shift by keeping floors, trash areas, and high touch surfaces clean and orderly
• Maintain cleanliness and supply levels at drink stations and self-service areas , s tock napkins, utensils, trays, condiments, and other guest-use items
• Assist with ice runs and bar/soda station support
• Communicate effectively with bartenders, kitchen staff, and managers
• Support the kitchen window during peak periods by helping manage guest flow
• Assist with light food or tray support when needed during rush periods
