About The Position

Cashier - Q BBQ & Fixin's Position Summary: The Cashier is responsible for delivering fast, friendly, and accurate service at Q BBQ & Fixin's (inside Spring & Main). This role is the primary point of guest interaction, handling all food and beverage orders in a counter-service model where guests order at the bar, receive a pager for food pickup, and return to the bar for additional service.

Requirements

2+ Years of Customer Service Experience
Enthusiasm for Customer Service and a Guest-First Mentality
Basic computer literacy
Basic math skills
Must be 21+ to apply

Responsibilities

Greet all guests promptly and professionally
Take food and beverage orders at the bar (no table service)
Clearly explain the ordering, pager, and pickup process
Answer menu questions and guide guests through offerings
Provide a friendly , efficient guest experience at all times
Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately
Enter orders into POS system with accuracy and speed
Handle payments, tabs, and cash/credit transactions
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
Communicate with BOH regarding order timing and flow
Help maintain smooth guest traffic during peak periods
Support overall cleanliness and speed of service in FOH
