This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As part of a hardworking team of specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will inspect development and flight vehicle cast hardware for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of providing accurate data on tight tolerance, high value components to determine configuration per engineering designs. As a collaborative team member, you will identify improvement opportunities and work with stakeholders on continuous improvement initiatives. You will partner with quality and engineering colleagues to develop effective inspection plans and work instructions. The ideal candidate demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, strong technical skills, and excellent documentation abilities. Experience with aerospace manufacturing quality control processes and familiarity with industry standards is highly desirable.
