Technical & Architectural Responsibilities Architect, implement, and support modern digital workspace solutions aligned with client business objectives, security requirements, and user experience goals. Design and support VDI, DaaS, and Cloud PC architectures (e.g., Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, third‑party VDI platforms), including sizing, performance optimization, access patterns, and cost considerations. Architect end‑to‑end email and productivity solutions using Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and Office applications. Design, deploy, and support collaboration and chat platforms including Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom, and Webex, ensuring secure configuration, lifecycle management, and optimal user adoption. Design and manage endpoint identity and access solutions including single sign‑on (SSO), MFA, and conditional access using Entra ID (Azure AD), Duo, Okta, Ping Identity, and related platforms. Design, image, and deploy Windows and macOS devices, including operating system builds, application packaging, configuration baselines, and automated provisioning. Architect and support endpoint management platforms including Microsoft Intune (MEM), Jamf Pro, and SCCM for device enrollment, compliance, patching, application deployment, and configuration management. Design and support laptop, workstation, mobile device, and tablet standards, including hardware selection, configurations, accessories, and lifecycle planning. Support Windows 10/11, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms, ensuring consistent security posture, performance, and user experience across device types. Design and support web conferencing solutions, including external collaboration, webinar platforms, and meeting security controls. Architect and support unified communications platforms including voice, softphones, telephony, voicemail, and call routing using platforms such as Microsoft Teams Phone, Zoom Phone, Webex Calling, and integrated PBX solutions. Design and support conference room, multimedia, and audio/video solutions including meeting room systems, cameras, microphones, displays, digital signage, and room control platforms. Develop automation and scripting solutions using PowerShell, Bash, or Python to streamline provisioning, configuration, reporting, and operational tasks. Troubleshoot complex end‑user, collaboration, identity, and device issues across hardware, software, network, and cloud layers. Design and integrate physical security solutions such as CCTV/video surveillance and badge access systems into the broader IT environment. Design pragmatic, cost‑effective solutions considering budget constraints, mixed‑vendor environments, and limited legacy documentation. Delivery & Operational Responsibilities Lead digital workspace initiatives across the full lifecycle including design, implementation, testing, documentation, go‑live, and post‑deployment support. Ensure digital workspace solutions are operationally supportable, well‑documented, and aligned with service desk and managed services capabilities. Research, evaluate, and recommend vendors, platforms, and technologies based on functionality, security posture, cost models, and long‑term operational fit. Manage software, device, and platform licensing, ensuring compliance, cost optimization, and alignment with client usage patterns. Partner with security, networking, and infrastructure teams to ensure digital workspace solutions align with enterprise standards and risk management requirements. Provide tier‑3 escalation support and subject matter expertise for complex incidents and recurring problem management. Maintain awareness of emerging digital workspace technologies, trends, and best practices, translating them into actionable recommendations for clients. Contribute to knowledge bases, standard operating procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives. Soft Skills & Client Engagement Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders, end users, and executive audiences. Lead technical discussions, workshops, and design sessions with clients to define requirements and future-state digital workspace strategies. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, balancing user experience, security, cost, and operational simplicity.
