About The Position

As a Staff Product Manager for the Digital Workplace within Technical Operations at Apex, you'll own the strategic vision and execution for our Modern Workplace program, delivering world-class technology experiences for 1,500+ employees across multiple global offices. You'll drive measurable business outcomes for a high-impact portfolio including workplace services, office buildouts, device management integration, and international expansion support. Key outcomes include establishing operational excellence through metrics-driven delivery, scaling IT support for international employees while reducing cost-per-employee, championing employee-centric services that eliminate friction and boost productivity through innovation with in-office technology. As a Staff-level individual contributor, you'll set product strategy for a digital workplace, influence cross-functional roadmaps spanning Corporate IT, Facilities, and HR, serve as subject matter expert on workplace technology trends, and represent this product area in executive decision-making. Success requires strong technical acumen across M365, device management, A/V solutions, and enterprise collaboration platforms, combined with the ability to translate business needs into scalable product solutions that support Apex's growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent work e required; Master's degree (MBA, MS in CS or Engineering) is strongly preferred.
  • 12+ years in product management with 5+ years in a senior product role
  • Proven track record owning business outcomes for a product area, including P&L or revenue accountability.
  • Experience building and scaling product teams, developing talent, and establishing product operating models.
  • Business and portfolio leadership: focuses on revenue and customer outcomes; develops investment strategy; drives market expansion and competitive positioning.
  • Operational excellence: establishes team operating models, governance, and quality standards; ensures execution discipline and risk management.
  • Cross-functional partnership: collaborates with peer leaders across Engineering, Design, GTM, and Operations; drives trade-offs and resolves conflicts at leadership level.
  • Executive communication and influence: presents to senior leadership; frames opportunities and trade-offs at business level; drives strategic alignment; represents product area in strategic planning.
  • Analytics and business intelligence: leverages product analytics and market data to inform strategy; uses metrics to drive business outcomes; validates decisions with data.
  • Organizational change leadership: leads teams through transformations and restructures; identifies how teams need to adjust to change; navigates ambiguity and complexity in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Innovation and problem-solving: identifies opportunities for new capabilities and business models; innovates on product approaches; overcomes organizational and technical limitations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine product management strategy and vision for your product area: create and maintain roadmap that communicates vision and priorities to stakeholders; ensure alignment with broader business strategy; drive revenue, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical and functional guidance to a team of product managers: Foster a culture of innovation and high performance; provide mentoring, coaching, assist with performance reviews, and professional development for team members.
  • Oversee product lifecycle management: Ensure planning, development, launch, and enhancement of products; work with the team to effectively manage the lifecycle of each product, addressing market demands, technology trends, and regulatory environments.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams: Collaborate with marketing, sales, engineering, and customer success to ensure product strategies are well understood and supported across the organization; serve as product evangelist to build awareness.
  • Lead cross-organizational initiatives and establish new capabilities: Drive programs spanning multiple products or functions; navigate organizational change; establish new capabilities, business models, or go-to-market approaches.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs: analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings to identify opportunities for new products or improvements; guide team in conducting research to validate and refine product concepts.
  • Define performance metrics and ensure optimal resource allocation: define and analyze product performance metrics; work with leadership on resource allocation decisions; adjust strategies as needed to deliver on business goals.
