About The Position

Have Experience as detail-oriented and strategic Data Conversion Analyst to lead the assessment and planning of a large-scale data transformation initiative. This role will support the implementation of a new digital material management system integrated with Windchill PLM, by evaluating the feasibility and value of converting legacy product part data to enable full digital traceability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data transformation, PLM systems, or digital traceability projects.
  • Strong understanding of Windchill PLM, material data management, and legacy system integration.
  • Experience in cost-benefit analysis, ROI modeling, and process optimization.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., PFAS, MDR) is a plus.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships in a team environment
  • Excellence in writing, verbal presentation, and interpersonal communication
  • Ability to manage conflicts in the Team
  • Guide Team in Migration activities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Granta or similar digital material systems.
  • Knowledge of data migration tools and automation technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and manage cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a comprehensive business case assessment for legacy data conversion.
  • Analyse time, cost, and effort required for the transformation.
  • Evaluate technological options for automated or semi-automated data conversion.
  • Compare conversion costs with current manual retrieval methods (e.g., PFAS, MDR).
  • Estimate ROI and present findings to individual business units.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, IT, and product management.
  • Develop and present recommendations for investment decisions.
  • Support vendor selection or internal tool development if conversion is approved.
