About The Position

The Digital Systems Analyst I supports the day to day operation, maintenance, and optimization of the credit union’s digital systems, including online banking, mobile platforms, ATM networks, and other member facing transaction channels. This entry level role works closely with senior analysts, IT partners, and business units to troubleshoot issues, assist with system updates, and ensure digital channels remain stable, secure, and user friendly. The Digital Systems Analyst I helps monitor system performance, document processes, support testing activities, and escalate concerns to appropriate technical teams, contributing to an efficient and reliable digital experience for members.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in information technology, computer science, business systems, or a related field required.
  • Basic understanding of digital banking platforms, online and mobile applications, or transactional systems.
  • Foundational knowledge of troubleshooting concepts, system behavior, and application workflows.
  • Awareness of information security principles and data protection practices.
  • Familiarity with documentation practices, process mapping, or support ticket systems.
  • One to two years of experience in technical support, digital banking operations, IT service desk, or related systems support role preferred.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to identify issues, document findings and follow structured troubleshooting steps.
  • Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills when working with technical and non technical users.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft products and collaboration tools such as Teams, SharePoint, Confluence or Jira.
  • Learning Orientation: Ability to learn new systems, software tools, and processes quickly.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently while supporting a team oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience working in a credit union or financial institution is helpful.
  • Internships, coursework, or practical projects involving digital systems or system administration are acceptable for entry level candidates.

Responsibilities

  • System Monitoring & Support Monitor daily system performance for digital platforms such as online banking, mobile applications, and ATM channels.
  • Assist in identifying, logging, and resolving system issues or outages.
  • Perform basic start of day or health checks according to established procedures.
  • Escalate technical issues to senior analysts, vendors, or IT teams as needed.
  • Issue Resolution & Documentation Respond to internal support requests regarding digital system functionality.
  • Document issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in accordance with team standards.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge base articles, system guides, and operational procedures.
  • System Maintenance & Enhancements Support scheduled system updates, patches, and maintenance activities.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for new features, enhancements, and integrations.
  • Collect and organize feedback from end users to support continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration & Communication Work closely with Digital Systems Analysts, IT teams, and business partners to ensure system readiness and functionality.
  • Provide timely updates to internal stakeholders regarding system issues, status changes, or outages.
  • Build familiarity with vendor platforms and assist with ticket submissions or follow ups.
  • Compliance & Security Awareness Assist in following security protocols to protect member data and system integrity.
  • Support regular audit activities by gathering documentation or system reports.
  • Maintain awareness of digital banking best practices and regulatory guidelines relevant to system operations.
