About The Position

We’re Tangent - a digital agency partnering with some of the world’s largest enterprises to design future-ready experiences, products and capabilities. Our multidisciplinary design team brings together strategy, UX and UI, with a growing focus on AI-enabled workflows and modern design tools. We work side by side with engineers and client teams to turn complex challenges into clear, practical direction - and deliver work that genuinely scales. We’re an agency spanning strategy, consultancy, design, engineering and project management, with studios in Newcastle, London, Cape Town, Lahore, Cairo and Poznań. We’re now looking for mid-weight and senior designers who want to work on meaningful, large-scale problems, learn fast, and help shape what modern digital design looks like.

Responsibilities

Assist in quantitative and qualitative research activities, using AI-assisted tools where appropriate to help synthesise insight, identify patterns and shape product strategies.
Create, test and refine UX prototypes, combining strong design fundamentals with modern, AI-enabled workflows to explore ideas quickly and adapt to evolving user needs.
Contribute to engaging workshops that educate and inspire clients on the value of future-ready design and evolving digital experiences.
Use confident presentation and storytelling skills to engage clients and the Tangent team, clearly explaining how design decisions align with user and business needs.
Continuously seek and champion opportunities for innovation — including exploring where AI and new tools can meaningfully improve workflows, delivery and outcomes for clients and the industry.
Support the exploration and design of conversational experiences, working with large language models to shape prompts, flows and interaction patterns that feel natural, on-brand and genuinely useful for users.
