About The Position

Just Play is on a mission to grow and accelerate our digital commerce penetration. To that end, we are seeking an ambitious marketing specialist to join our Digital Commerce Group to help with retailer marketing efforts and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with an understanding of digital and retailer marketing channels, adept at leveraging analytics and rapid testing to optimize campaigns for maximum ROAS. The purpose of this role is to advance and elevate how consumers find our products, both across the digital landscape and specifically on e-retailers websites. This role will ensure that new product launch and always on strategies are implemented and working, to ultimately drive conversion. In addition, this role will work in conjunction with our Marketing and Sales teams to partner on national priorities and campaigns. Lastly, this role will help inform the broader organization on sell through performance and lead efforts on early product performance reads to drive appropriate action (chase/cancel, changes to marketing strategy and spend, etc.). As the Digital Performance Marketing Specialist, you will work with the Senior Manager of Performance Marketing on retailer specific marketing plans and promotions. From product launches, to search and display, and other always on media, this role is tasked with making sure that we have the right plans in place that deliver against specific ROAS and growth goals. In addition, you will work hand-in-hand with our Merchandising and Marketing teams and mine for insights to help improve how our products are represented across the digital landscape. You’ll work closely with other members on the marketing, content, brand and strategy teams to ensure comprehensive product support and coverage. Your main KPIs are ROAS, sell through, and growth.

Requirements

  • BS or BA in business, merchandising, marketing, or related field – or equivalent years of relevant and related experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Digital Marketing required with experience optimizing campaigns across paid search and display
  • Strong understanding of the fundamentals of retail eCommerce, especially pertaining to key marketing metrics (ROAS, CPC, CPA, etc.)
  • Deep analytical skills with the ability to interpret and translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong partnerships and lead change across an organization
  • Advanced collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Occasional travel as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, or other marketplace platforms is highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Support strategy, execution, and optimization of paid media campaigns across Amazon, Walmart, and other marketplaces
  • Utilize analytics to understand campaign performance data, identify trends, and share opportunities for improvement across the digital landscape
  • Conduct A/B testing to continuously optimize campaign performance and improve targeting, messaging, and creative elements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other marketing teams, brand managers, and sales to align performance marketing initiatives with overall business goals
  • Partner with external agencies and vendors to ensure effective execution of marketing campaigns.
