About The Position

The Digital Operations Associate / Specialist supports the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of digital manufacturing tools (e.g., manufacturing execution system (MES), data historians, and electronic logbooks) in a current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) environment. This role works under close guidance, executes defined tasks to enable recipe-driven operations, maintains data and record integrity, and contributes to electronic batch execution for drug substance manufacturing. The Digital Operations Associate collaborates with cross-functional partners (e.g., Manufacturing, Automation, Quality) to ensure digital solutions align with process requirements, regulatory standards, and integration goals. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of related experience; OR
  • Associate’s degree in Life Sciences or Engineering with 2 years of related experience; OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; OR
  • Equivalent practical experience with no prior experience

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of related experience; OR
  • Associate’s degree in Life Sciences or Engineering with 4 years of related experience; OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Engineering with 2 years of related experience

Responsibilities

  • Executes clearly defined tasks supporting the deployment and sustainment of digital tools (e.g., MES, data historians, e-logbooks) within established procedures
  • Assists with configuration activities for recipe-driven operations; prepares documentation for review and approval
  • Performs basic data collection, routine analysis, and system monitoring to support consistent, reliable digital operations
  • Follows cGMP, data integrity, and compliance standards; escalates non-routine issues to senior team members
  • Supports user training by preparing materials, documenting standard work, and conducting walkthroughs under supervision
  • Participates in cross-functional coordination to support digital integration and electronic batch execution
  • Contributes to continuous improvement by identifying straightforward opportunities to streamline tasks or standard work
  • Provides on-call support participation as scheduled, with guidance from senior staff
  • Maintains accurate records, logs, and status updates for assigned tasks
  • Other duties, as assigned
