About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team and play a critical role in elevating our digital presence. We’re looking for an individual with a strong background in UX/UI design. The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for optimizing and managing our external-facing websites, internal company intranet, and mobile applications to deliver seamless, user-friendly experiences that effectively engage and inform our audiences. In addition to enhancing user experience, this role will handle placing, monitoring, and optimizing Google PPC. The specialist will also oversee the proper placement of tracking codes and analytics to ensure campaigns are accurately measured and optimized for maximum impact. This role will work closely with our Marketing Analyst and broader marketing team to create, implement, and monitor content and campaigns that align with organizational goals and customer needs. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical expertise and creative thinking. This position is critical in driving growth through exceptional digital experiences and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Certification in SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, or Google Ads (e.g., Google Analytics Individual Qualification, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads Certification).
  • 5-8 years of experience in digital marketing, media buying, or performance marketing roles.
  • Proven experience in managing SEO/SEM campaigns and driving measurable growth in organic and paid traffic.
  • Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Sitefinity) and website management.
  • Track record of managing and executing marketing campaigns, including A/B testing and CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization).
  • Experience in using project management tools like Asana, Trello, or Monday.com to manage cross-functional collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with data privacy and compliance frameworks like GDPR/CCPA.
  • Practical experience with programmatic advertising, analytics tools like Google Analytics and Tag Manager, and API integrations.
  • Background in collaborating with stakeholders and presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in managing mobile applications, intranet platforms, and integrating UX research to improve user experience.
  • SEO/SEM Expertise: Proficiency in search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) to drive organic and paid traffic growth.
  • Content Management Systems (CMS): Experience managing and optimizing websites using platforms like WordPress or Sitefinity (or similar CMS tools).
  • Website Maintenance: Expertise in maintaining and managing internal and external company websites, ensuring updates, functionality, and performance.
  • Intranet Management: Ability to oversee and update the company intranet to ensure it meets internal communication and collaboration needs.
  • Mobile Application Management: Skilled in maintaining and managing internal mobile applications, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.
  • Web Development Knowledge: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to troubleshoot or make small adjustments to websites and applications.
  • UX Research: Familiarity with usability testing, heatmaps, or tools like Hotjar to enhance user experience.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to monitor and report on website and campaign performance.
  • Privacy & Compliance Awareness: Understanding of data privacy laws like GDPR and CCPA to ensure compliance across all platforms.
  • Project Management: Experience using tools like Trello, Asana, or Monday.com to manage tasks, timelines, and collaboration effectively.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Advanced ability to optimize landing pages and websites to increase conversions and ROI.
  • A/B Testing Expertise: Experience designing and running split tests to improve campaign performance and user engagement.
  • Web Creative Development: Skills in designing and creating compelling webpages tailored for unique audiences.
  • API Integration Knowledge: Understanding how to integrate APIs for analytics, advertising platforms, or third-party tools to streamline workflows.
  • Technical SEO Skills: Execute strategy driven by the content team to improve organic search visibility alongside website management. Advanced understanding of site architecture, schema markup, and page speed optimization to enhance website performance.
  • Marketing Automation Tools: Proficiency with platforms like Iterable, HubSpot, Marketo, or Mailchimp to support automated campaigns and lead nurturing.
  • Client/Stakeholder Communication: Strong skills in presenting strategies, delivering reports, and aligning goals with internal or external stakeholders.
  • Competitor Analysis: Ability to analyze competitor campaigns and websites to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional certifications or coursework in UX/UI Design, Web Development, Digital Marketing, or Marketing Automation Tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, or Iterable certifications) is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Website, Intranet, and Mobile Application Management: Oversee the maintenance, updates, and performance optimization of internal and external company websites.

  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling webpages tailored for specific audiences. Utilize basic web development knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to troubleshoot or make minor adjustments to digital platforms.
  • User Experience and Conversion Optimization: Conduct UX research, leveraging tools like Hotjar or heatmaps, to enhance digital experiences.
