About The Position

The Digital Marketing Specialist is a key member of the Marketing & Communications team at Kamco, responsible for developing and executing integrated communication strategies to enhance Kamco's brand image, market visibility, and drive business growth. This role requires a creative, results-oriented individual with a strong understanding of digital marketing principles and a passion for storytelling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience working in digital marketing and/or corporate communications
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation platforms
  • Proficiency in SEO/SEM and Google analytics
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Experience with video editing software
  • Experience with Mailchimp and Google Ad networks

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including:
  • Social Media: Manage social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter) by creating engaging content, scheduling posts, monitoring conversations, and analyzing performance
  • Content Marketing: Develop and execute content marketing strategies, including blog posts, articles, white papers, case studies, and other relevant content to attract and engage target audiences
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Conduct keyword research, optimize website content and landing pages for search engines, and track SEO performance
  • Pay-Per-Click Advertising (PPC): Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and social media
  • Email Marketing: Develop and execute targeted email campaigns, including newsletters, promotional offers, and customer communications
  • Website Management: Assist in maintaining and updating the company website, ensuring it is user-friendly, informative, and visually appealing
  • Develop and execute public relations strategies to enhance Kamco's brand reputation and visibility
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets and industry influencers
  • Draft press releases, media advisories, and other communications materials
  • Manage media inquiries and coordinate media interviews
  • Monitor media coverage and analyze media sentiment
  • Plan and execute internal communication initiatives to keep employees informed and engaged
  • Contribute to the development of corporate communications materials, such as brochures, presentations, and annual reports
  • Support internal events such as training, employee events, or other corporate events
  • Track, analyze, and report on the performance of all marketing campaigns across various channels
  • Use data and insights to optimize marketing strategies and improve ROI
  • Prepare regular reports for management on marketing performance and key metrics
  • Manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer service, to achieve marketing objectives
  • Experience following PM Standards, such as building a project plan including task management, communication management, and risk management
