About The Position

Hoyt Archery, an industry leader and world-renowned brand in archery and bowhunting gear is searching for an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, strategic vision, urgency, enthusiasm and a passion for digital marketing, bowhunting and archery to the marketing team. The ability to thrive in a fast paced environment is a must, along with strong writing skills and excellent social customer service skills. Candidates must have a very strong background in social media and digital marketing, incorporating the latest and most effective practices into Hoyt’s social and digital marketing strategies. (This is an inhouse position located in Salt Lake City, UT)

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in related field (Digital Marketing, Marketing, Advertising)
  • 3-5 years of experience managing business to consumer social media and digital marketing efforts
  • Extensive experience and knowledge in Social Media platforms
  • Extensive knowledge in SEO and website content management, particularly with Shopify
  • Proficient with Google Ads and Meta advertising tools
  • Exceptional writing and grammar skills
  • Proficiency in e-mail marketing software, preferably Klaviyo
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to thrive in fast paced environment with tight deadlines
  • A passion and knowledge of bowhunting and archery

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with InDesign, Photoshop and other Adobe Creative programs
  • AdWords Certification
  • Video Editing
  • Photography
  • Advertising – Digital, Social Media and Traditional
  • Technical knowledge of bows and archery accessories
  • Experience working with Microsoft Business Central is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Director of Marketing and marketing team to develop all social media strategies and content
  • Own and manage the content calendar
  • Monitor and update all social media platforms on a daily basis
  • Social listening and responding to customers on all social media platforms
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, channels, strategies, etc. and implement accordingly
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow Hoyt’s social media reach and increase engagement
  • Provide social media and website analytic summaries to management
  • Update and edit content on Hoyt.com, including product home page, product pages, e-commerce pages, and more
  • E-mail marketing
  • Manage our Meta ad library and ad placement
  • Manage our Google Ads
  • Attend archery media and trade events representing the Hoyt brand and associated products and capitalize on digital marketing opportunities
