About The Position

The Digital Marketing Specialist works collaboratively with the Marketing team and departments across the resort to support the strategy, execution, and continued evolution of Sand Valley’s digital presence. In our fast-paced hospitality environment, the ideal candidate is collaborative, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable balancing creative production with data-driven decision-making. Success in this role requires flexibility, strong cross-functional communication, and a genuine passion for bringing Sand Valley’s golf, community, and wilderness experiences to life across every channel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or Public Relations required.
  • Background in photography, videography, and design required.
  • Deep understanding of overall golf landscape. General knowledge of Sand Valley brand is helpful.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere/Final Cut/DaVinci Resolve).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills, with the ability to actively listen and collaborate across teams.
  • Demonstrated experience capturing and editing both photography and video content.
  • Positive attitude and team-centered approach.
  • Willingness to participate in a collaborative environment and follow-through on direct assignments while also offering new ideas to help achieve team goals.
  • Interest in travel, golf, real estate, and hospitality businesses.
  • Ability to prioritize and contribute to multiple projects.

Responsibilities

  • Social Media Management (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter)
  • Track performance for all paid and organic social initiatives, including engagement, impressions, views, and other similar metrics.
  • Leverage digital platforms to tell the story of Sand Valley’s history, amenities, and guest experience in a compelling and contemporary way.
  • Capture and design content for all email campaigns.
  • Database management (Revinate, Mailchimp, ADM).
  • Manage overall design and update content accordingly for all guest journey communications.
  • Report on campaign performance and evaluate results.
  • Work closely with the Creative Director to monitor website performance, ensuring it serves as a best-in-class digital extension of the resort experience.
  • Work with agency partners to drive SEO, UX, and conversion optimization to support revenue and engagement goals.
  • Develop photography, video, and storytelling assets that showcase the property, golf, and lifestyle offerings.
  • In-house photography and videography to support operations, social media campaigns, website, and brand pillars, including golf, community, and wilderness.
  • Support day-to-day design needs for the resort under the direction of the Creative Director.
  • Create graphic design assets using Adobe Creative Suite to support marketing campaigns, social media, email, and website initiatives.
  • Work with local and regional tourism organizations to develop strong relationships, local markets, and networks.
  • Willing to work a non-traditional work week consisting of evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to maintain and manage the ongoing marketing calendar.
