About The Position

The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for planning, creating, and managing engaging content across our social media platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other emerging channels. The Digital Marketing Specialist will promote the company brand, highlight product offerings, and support talent acquisition efforts through compelling digital storytelling. The ideal Digital Marketing Specialist is a creative self-starter who understands food and beverage marketing, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and stays ahead of social media trends. This position is 100% Onsite in Vernon, CA and not open for Remote or Hybrid.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience managing social media accounts for a brand or business, with demonstrated growth results.
  • Strong portfolio of content creation across video, photography, and graphic design.
  • Proficiency with video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar).
  • Proficiency with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Deep understanding of YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms including algorithms, best practices, and audience behavior.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent copywriting ability.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the food, seafood, CPG, or food service industry.
  • Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and email marketing platforms.
  • Experience with paid social advertising and campaign management.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Photography and videography skills, including experience with Digital Single-Lens Reflex (DSLR) cameras and lighting setups.
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing and partnership management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and manage a comprehensive social media strategy across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
  • Create high-quality, engaging content (video, photography, graphics, and copywriting) that showcases our seafood products, processing capabilities, and company culture.
  • Plan, shoot, and edit short-form and long-form video content optimized for each platform.
  • Manage and grow our social media accounts, increasing followers, engagement, and brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to promote new products, seasonal offerings, and company milestones.
  • Support recruitment and employer branding efforts by creating compelling content that highlights career opportunities, employee stories, and workplace culture.
  • Monitor social media trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify opportunities for timely, relevant content.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics (engagement rates, reach, follower growth, conversions) and use data to optimize content strategy.
  • Manage paid social media advertising campaigns, including budgeting, targeting, and performance optimization.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, influencers, and brand partners as needed.
  • Ensure all content is consistent with brand guidelines and messaging.
  • Stay current on platform algorithm changes, best practices, and emerging digital marketing tools.
