About The Position

We are seeking a creative, strategic, and detail-oriented Social Media & Content Design Strategist with 3–5 years of experience managing brand social channels and creating high-impact marketing content. This role owns our day-to-day social presence while serving as a creative partner and brand steward across multiple business segments. The ideal candidate understands the importance of brand consistency, accuracy, and customer trust—especially in a service-critical environment. You balance creativity with discipline, can follow a brand and voice guide while pushing ideas forward, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience managing social media and content for a business or brand.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills with an eye for tone, clarity, and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing content calendars across multiple platforms.
  • Strong understanding of brand presence and voice consistency.
  • Experience using social media management tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, or similar).
  • Proficiency with Canva; working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite strongly preferred.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a service-based or regulated industry (telecom, utilities, IT, healthcare, etc.).
  • Basic photo and video editing skills; short-form video experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with UTM tracking, link management, and social analytics.
  • Understanding of paid social fundamentals (boosting, audiences, A/B testing).
  • Experience with CRM, ticketing, or marketing automation systems.
  • Comfortable learning and communicating technical concepts such as channel sales, fiber services, outages, and installation timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and evolve a strategic social media and content calendar aligned with brand, marketing, and business goals.
  • Create, write, design, schedule, and publish content across social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and more.)
  • Produce clear, accurate, and brand-consistent copy and visual content for telecom products, advances services, launches, network upgrades, outages, restorations, and community updates.
  • Serve as a primary creator of internal and customer-facing marketing materials including one-pagers, case studies (including customer and stakeholder interviews), presentations (PowerPoint), and sales enablement assets.
  • Lead storytelling efforts by translating complex technical and business concepts into simple, engaging, customer-friendly narratives.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, Customer Support, Operations, HR, and Leadership to ensure messaging accuracy, relevance, and alignment.
  • Monitor and manage social engagement; respond professionally to comments and messages, and escalate service-related or sensitive issues to appropriate teams.
  • Support employer branding through hiring campaigns, employee spotlights, internal announcements, and culture-driven content.
  • Support paid social and integrated marketing campaigns; assist with boosted posts, targeting, creative variations, and coordination with agency partners when needed.
  • Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics (engagement, reach, CTR, conversions, follower growth); apply insights to continuously improve content and channel strategy.
  • Identify trends, competitor activity, and customer sentiment to inform content planning and brand positioning.
  • Maintain, organize, and expand a reusable content library (graphics, video, testimonials, FAQs, case studies, presentations).
  • Coordinate content capture for events, sponsorships, network builds, customer stories, and internal initiatives.
  • Own and steward brand guidelines; ensure brand standards are clearly understood, consistently applied, and upheld across the organization.
  • Educate internal teams on brand voice, visual identity, and messaging best practices; review materials for brand alignment as needed.
  • Manage social media, content, and creative tools; maintain organized access, workflows, and documentation.
