About The Position

Inside the Role As part of the Brand Marketing Communications department, the Digital Marketing team helps define, develop, and amplify the purpose behind our brands. Together, we work to ensure that Freightliner, Western Star, and Detroit are not just known, but genuinely valued and admired by our industry, dealers, and customers. As the Digital Marketing Analyst, you will play a key role in executing the digital strategy for our brands. You will support digital projects, analytics, and platform management across brand websites, mobile applications, and Highspot, our sales enablement tool. This role collaborates cross functionally with Marketing Communications, Product Marketing, DTFS, Aftermarket, and IT to ensure cohesive and effective digital marketing execution. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related experience, or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree, is required.
  • Experience supporting website and/or mobile application projects.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organization skills; adaptable and able to adjust to evolving processes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience coordinating projects across multiple business areas.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong technical aptitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience administering CMS platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or Umbraco.
  • Experience with data visualization, data blending, or supporting project managers with analytical insights.
  • Basic knowledge of iOS and Android mobile platforms.
  • Experience using Google Analytics and interpreting performance metrics.
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles and experience with application testing.
  • Basic HTML knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the application owner for Smart Source & Star Source (Freightliner and Western Star mobile applications), including feature enhancement planning, design testing, and KPI/analytics reporting. Ensure content alignment across other digital platforms where applicable. Manage user feedback for the Source apps and troubleshoot reported issues. Oversee coordination for VIN lookup tool and training section within the Source apps and on the Freightliner and Western Star websites.
  • Update and develop content on the Freightliner, Western Star and Detroit websites using a content management system (CMS), ensuring brand consistency and content accuracy. Collaborate within the Digital Marketing team and with Brand Communications, Product Marketing, IT, DTFS, and Aftermarket teams. Support user testing and assist with project coordination for brand website enhancements.
  • Lead analytics reporting for the Digital team, including monthly brand website analytics, quarterly all-agency meeting coordination, monthly Highspot reporting and meeting facilitation, and Marketo reporting and RAQ (request-a-quote) validation. Provide ad-hoc performance reporting and data analysis for digital programs, campaigns and platforms using Tableau, Google Analytics (GA4), Highspot, and Marketo.
  • Manage the Marketo campaign development and blog publishing for the Team Run Smart program in coordination with Product and Brand Marketing teams. Support the execution of the Freightliner, Western Star and Detroit email marketing campaigns through Marketo including stakeholder coordination and collaboration with agency partners.
  • Serve as the backup for key responsibilities assigned to the Digital Marketing Coordinator. Provide support as needed for special projects, product launches, and campaigns. Oversee project budgets, including annual M&C contracts, and manage purchasing information in compliance with company procurement processes.
