About The Position

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys shaping end‑to‑end digital manufacturing solutions, partnering with enterprise customers, and influencing technology direction across complex industrial environments. You will work at the intersection of architecture, innovation, and business growth—helping clients modernize their manufacturing ecosystems while contributing to strategic pursuits and long‑term transformation initiatives.

Requirements

  • Domain Expertise:Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly in Automotive and/or Aerospace (e.g., CAD/CAM, CNC machining, composite layups, additive manufacturing).
  • Technology Proficiency:Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), IIoT, SCADA, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
  • Business Acumen:Ability to link technical solutions to measurable business value, including ROI, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction.
  • Soft Skills:Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities, with an entrepreneurial “hunter” mindset for identifying new opportunities.
  • Education & Experience:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, with 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, consulting, or technical sales.

Responsibilities

  • Solution Design & Architecture (60–70%):Design end‑to‑end technical solutions (IIoT, MES, AI/ML, Edge) that integrate OT (Operational Technology) and IT systems. Responsibilities include creating architectural blueprints, conducting proof‑of‑concepts (POCs), and developing scalable cloud‑based solutions (AWS, Azure) to modernize manufacturing operations.
  • Business Development & Strategic Sales (30–40%):Identify new business opportunities within automotive and aerospace accounts, support revenue growth, and contribute to RFI/RFP responses. Act as a trusted advisor to understand client needs, pain points, and business objectives, translating them into actionable technical requirements.
  • Strategic Advisory & Leadership:Collaborate with internal sales and delivery teams to craft tailored value propositions. Present complex technical solutions to executive‑level stakeholders and support decision-making with clarity and confidence.
  • Technical Implementation Oversight:Guide on‑site implementation teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards, data security requirements, and best practices throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Innovation & Thought Leadership:Stay informed on industry trends—Industry 4.0, digital twins, AI, and emerging technologies—to propose, test, and integrate new capabilities that enhance client outcomes and internal solution frameworks.
