About The Position

Culver Franchising System is looking for a Digital Learning Manager to lead the creation and enhancement of Culver’s best-in-class training by overseeing the design, development, and continuous improvement of digital learning experiences that are consistent with organizational goals. The successful candidate will build on existing training programs while creating engaging content and ensuring a flexible learning approach through innovative methods and emerging technologies, all while developing a high-performing team through clear communication, coaching, and leadership that drives creativity and consistent high-quality results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Multi Media, Learning Technologies, or a related area
  • 5-7 years of experience in digital learning, instructional design, and learning technology or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus 3+ years people management experience
  • Strong expertise in learning technologies including Articulate Rise and Storyline, LMS administration, and digital content development tools
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple complex training projects at once, lead teams, and manage stakeholders
  • Knowledge of instructional design methodologies, modern learning trends, graphic design, photography and videography, and adult learning principles

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute learning programs that align with organizational goals for team and leadership development, integrating with ButterBurger University (BBU) workshops and Franchise Development Program when appropriate
  • Oversee the design and development of digital learning experiences, including eLearning modules, videos, simulations, and performance support tools
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify learning needs and recommend digital solutions that drive performance and growth
  • Ensure digital learning is engaging and offers a flexible and blended approach such as microlearning, social learning, Vlogs, and gamification
  • Evaluate emerging learning technologies to ensure modern solutions that enhance engagement, accessibility, and performance outcomes
  • Use data and analytics to measure learning effectiveness and continuously improve digital learning offerings
  • Oversee LMS administration, configuration, governance, and high-quality standards across all learning content
  • Ensure the LMS is user-friendly, aligned with evolving learning strategies, and optimized to support cross-functional goals
  • Monitor functionality issues, system performance, learner analytics, and reporting to support data‑driven decision‑making
  • Employ successful communication and coaching to enable individual and team success and engagement
  • Exercise change management techniques to align team focus, inspire creativity, garner agility, and gain demonstrated actions to meet deadlines while ensuring the best outcomes
