About The Position

As a Digital Fundraising Intern with Campaign Solutions (a member of Push Digital Group), you’ll work side-by-side with members of our team on projects critical to our company’s success... and help to propel your own career to the next level. Here’s a snapshot of what you may accomplish during your time as a Public Affairs Intern: Support digital fundraising campaigns and client work: You’ll assist our fundraising team with active client campaigns, helping prepare materials, support fundraising deadlines, and gain exposure to how successful digital fundraising programs are built and executed. Gain hands-on experience with digital fundraising strategy and execution: You’ll help draft email and text copy, support creative coordination, load campaigns into fundraising platforms, and assist with quality checks before launch. You’ll also learn how campaign performance is reviewed and results are measured. What sorts of skills and experience should you bring to a Digital Fundraising Internship? Most importantly, we only recruit interns with a positive, can-do attitude who take a “run, not walk” approach to helping our clients and team succeed. Prior exposure to email marketing or digital tools (such as MailChimp, Constant Contact, basic HTML, Iterable, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud) is a plus, but not required. Many members of our team began their careers with limited digital experience. We value curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn more than what you already know, and provide ongoing mentorship and guidance throughout the internship. Organized, self-starting team player who can prioritize, multi-task, maintain a professional demeanor, and has a desire to grow in the role Flexibility and ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment, often under tight deadlines Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion for confidential work, information, and sensitive situations. What you need to know about our Public Affairs internship program: Digital Fundraising Internships are in-person, in-office roles available in our office in Alexandria, Virginia. Spring internships typically run from mid-January through early May. Summer internships typically run from late-May to mid-August. Fall internships start in late-August and last through early December. We accept applications year-round for all terms. You should expect to work around 15-25 hours a week. Your manager will work with you on a specific schedule. These are paid internships with specific compensation dependent on location and any prior experience you may have.
