About The Position

The Digital Experience Specialist will play a pivotal role in enhancing the online experience for AWM and GTN audiences while driving digital marketing efforts to increase our online presence and conversion rates. You'll work closely with our marketing and web development teams to ensure that our websites are user-friendly, high-performing, and aligned with marketing goals.

Requirements

  • Use data and analytics to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
  • Proven web UX and SEO experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of A/B testing tools for websites.
  • Understanding of digital advertising platforms.
  • Ability to create a user journey from beginning to end that converts a lead into a customer.
  • Ability to create different marketing webpages, including leading the generation of landing pages, blogs, sales pages, etc.
  • Solid level understanding of marketing analytics, Google Analytics, and general performance reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and media editing software.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Familiarity with web design and content management systems.
  • Ability to manage complex projects independently.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organization and project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to effectively operate Windows-based computers and navigate Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Must sign the Statement of Faith.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent education is required.
  • Must pass all required checks.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in Web Development, UX Development, Digital Marketing, or related role.
  • Must possess a portfolio showcasing previous work and accomplishments.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints is a plus.
  • A Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred.
  • Experience in content creation is a plus.
  • Experience in non-profit online marketing is preferred but not a requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Craft high-fidelity and low-fidelity wireframes to effectively communicate website layouts, user flows, and information architecture.
  • Possess expertise in wireframing tools and/or be comfortable creating wireframes using industry-standard techniques.
  • Collaborate with content teams to create user-friendly and visually appealing web experiences.
  • Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
  • Implement best UX practices, including responsive design, information architecture, and usability testing.
  • Optimize website content, layout, and performance for faster load times and improved SEO.
  • Implement A/B testing and analyze data to improve conversion rates.
  • Ensure compliance with web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to increase online visibility and brand awareness.
  • Manage and analyze data from tools like Google Analytics and SEO platforms to make data-driven decisions.
  • Regularly update website content, ensuring it is accurate and aligned with marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the content team to create and maintain engaging content that drives user engagement and conversion.
  • Generate regular reports on UX improvements, website performance, and digital marketing results.
