Position Overview The Digital Designer is an essential role for providing exceptional technology media design services in collaboration with marketing and digital media operations. The Digital Designer provides expertise guidance in graphic design, UI design, and digital marketing to create visually captivating content and campaigns. This role collaborates with Marketing, External Vendors, IT Leadership, other internal resources, and various technical team members throughout IT to develop brand loyalty and exceptional customer experience. This individual will possess advanced communication and technical skills along with practical experience in conceptualizing and designing compelling digital media including website content, landing pages and UI designs, emails, newsletters, social media assets, and search engine optimization.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, Degree in Digital Design, related subject, or equivalent digital media design experience.
  • 2+ years Prior experience in web development experience in marketing, brand, UI design with a digital focus
  • Experience with SQL databases and T-SQL programming.
  • Experience with UI/UX with the ability to create designs for web and mobile interfaces.
  • Experience with photography, motion design, video editing, and HTML/CSS
  • Ability to adhere to change management, and configuration management policy, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Ability to provide objective and impartial technology, platform, tooling assessments and recommendations.
  • Possesses or displays the ability to learn multiple technologies and systems.
  • Professional experience demonstrating the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees and contractors, and to communicate ideas effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Able to provide a strong customer-centric support approach to understanding customer needs and work to resolve issues in a timely and professional manner meeting team SLAs.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the collaboration of requirement gathering and conceptualizes and designs captivating assets including website content, landing pages and UI designs, email newsletters, social media assets, and other marketing collateral.
  • Leads digital design projects.
  • Completes the successful execution of project activities on changing organizational requirements.
  • Collaborates with the marketing team to bring engaging digital content strategies to life, designing targeted campaigns and flows that effectively communicate brand messaging and promotions.
  • Utilizes understanding of social media platforms and trends to build visually impactful content tailored to each platform's unique audience.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, and developers to ensure design consistency and alignment with Central Power branding.
  • Performs analysis of current environment to identify deficiencies and opportunities for improvement; recommend solutions.
  • Maintains, designs, and improves the digital presence of existing intranet and extranet websites.
  • Provide clear and concise communication with Marketing and media resources.
  • Tracks customer enhancement request maintaining operational SLAs.
  • Assisting with upgrades: Test and maintain websites to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
  • Complete Ad hoc data, forms and report request.
  • Create and maintain analytical reports in Power BI and other tools to monitor business performance key metrics and programs.
  • Manage an update SEO information.
  • Consult with vendors and other CPSS IT personnel for digital media problem resolutions.
  • Participating in Marketing meetings: Attend regular team meetings to discuss current issues, share knowledge, and improve processes.
  • Perform other related duties to support the mission and critical success factors of the CPSS Technology department.
  • Seeks opportunity to automate, simplify and enhance Digital Media operations and processes.
  • Maintains Digital Designer goals and objectives to increase system efficiency.
  • Stays abreast of Digital Designer technology trends as well as how it pertains specifically to CPSS.
  • Assists with strategy/roadmap and identifies and recommends modern technology solutions to meet business needs.
  • Acts as a SMEs for key areas of expertise and drives key projects or ongoing initiatives.
  • Leads meeting agendas and expectations for the Digital Designer touchpoint meetings with the Marketing team and IT leadership.
  • Provides highest tier level of customer-centric support for Digital Media issues.
  • Tracks customer interactions and digital media requests.
  • Escalating, complex issues to senior administrators or IT leadership.
  • Assist in development of objectives, standards, procedures, and guidelines for Digital Media operations.
