About The Position

You will provide direction with a storytelling mindset sharing information for activities involved in developing and producing audio and visual content and features to be delivered by web, broadcast, streaming, or other media forms for the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. You will work with creative leadership to determine content needs and specifications. You will report to the Director of Multimedia.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Video Production / Media/ Film / TV, related field, or two (2) years of relevant experience.
  • 1 year of professional, non-linear editing experience.
  • 2+ years' experience editing with Adobe Premiere Pro Creative Cloud or similar editing software.
  • 1 year in-studio and field/ floor directing / audio board / mixer operation experience
  • Camera operation experience
  • Media management skills
  • File sharing service experience

Responsibilities

  • You will conceptualize ideas, create scripts and storyboards for video production.
  • Record, edit, export, and upload video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music / voice-over / sound effects, media management and arching project media.
  • Plan video shoots: scout, select and reserve shoot locations.
  • Develop production schedules, including scope and budgets.
  • You will create and edit graphics and animations.
  • Work with customers and team members to help them tell their stories.
  • Manage video library and assets.
  • Investigate visual trends and current technologies.
  • Be a part of a team, to establish project deliverables.
  • Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.
