About The Position

Role overview We are seeking a hands on Digital Commerce Manager to own day to day growth of our Magento based B2B portal. This person will be the internal champion of ecommerce, directly responsible for driving traffic, conversion, and revenue through our digital channel. This is a roll up your sleeves role for someone who loves both growth and the mechanics of running an ecommerce site. They will manage our Magento storefront end to end while driving digital initiatives that move the needle. Key responsibilities Own revenue and growth KPIs for the B2B digital commerce portal, including traffic, conversion rate, average order value, and repeat purchase. Manage the Magento storefront day to day: product setup, categories, pricing, promotions, content, and on site merchandising. Configure and optimize B2B experiences in Magento (company accounts, customer specific pricing, catalogs, terms, and ordering flows). Plan and execute demand generating initiatives across SEO, paid search, paid social, email, and retargeting to grow portal adoption and revenue. Collaborate with sales leadership to migrate existing customers to the portal and increase online share of wallet. Use analytics tools (e.g., GA4) to monitor performance, build dashboards, and make data driven decisions about campaigns and on site optimization. Run A/B tests and conversion rate optimization efforts to improve landing pages, product pages, and key steps in the buying journey. Coordinate with IT/Development or external agencies on site improvements, bug fixes, integrations, and new feature rollouts for Magento. Maintain a clear roadmap of digital commerce initiatives, prioritize high impact projects, and communicate progress to leadership. Ensure product content (descriptions, images, specs, collateral) is accurate, compelling, and optimized for both discovery and conversion. Partner with operations and customer service to ensure a seamless end to end customer experience from order placement through fulfillment.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of experience in ecommerce or digital commerce roles, with at least 3 years directly managing an ecommerce site.
  • Strong, hands on experience with Magento / Adobe Commerce, including catalog management and promotions; B2B experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record driving measurable revenue growth and improving ecommerce KPIs.
  • Practical experience with core digital channels: SEO, Google Ads / paid search, paid social, email, and basic marketing automation.
  • Comfortable working in analytics tools (GA4 or similar), building reports, and translating data into action.
  • Solid understanding of B2B buying behavior, account based or customer segmented tactics, and longer sales cycles.
  • Excellent project management skills: able to prioritize, move multiple initiatives forward, and hit deadlines in a fast moving environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross functionally with sales, operations, IT, and leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with B2B specific features in Magento (custom pricing, quotes, approvals, terms, and multi user accounts).
  • Background in a B2B or industrial/distribution environment with negotiated pricing and complex catalogs.
  • Experience coordinating with external development or digital agencies.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and integrating ecommerce data into sales and marketing workflows.
