Purpose and Impact: The Geospatial Enterprise Open Data Store (GEODS) contract provides integration, design, development, and sustainment for data services in support of the Federal Government. The Product Manager is responsible for overseeing the development of products from concept to operational deployment, guiding Scrum Masters and developers through the requirements process and contributing to a robust, organized Backlog and streamlined Roadmap for the GEODS program. Work Schedule: M – F / Core hours 9 AM – 3 PM Essential Responsibilities: As a GEODS Product Manager, you will serve as a bridge between the government and one or more Scrum teams, advancing the vision and execution of the GEODS program by completing the following tasks: Backlog Management Prioritize work for one or more Scrum teams, maintaining the team Backlog in Jira and adding to it as feedback is received Assist one or more Scrum teams in developing user stories and acceptance criteria that are clearly understood by developers Review and accept completed work, ensuring it meets defined acceptance criteria Ensure team is always working on highest value approved priorities while avoiding scope creep Requirements Development Work closely with government to bring new efforts through the requirements process Assist Chief Architect and Chief Engineer in Roadmap development, defining vision for future years of the program Project Management and Execution Oversee projects to ensure successful completion and adherence to timelines Monitor project progress and identify potential issues alongside team Scrum Master, may also serve as the team Scrum Master Provide contract and government leadership visibility into team progress and impediments, to include reporting (CDRLs, KPIs, etc.) Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands: Office environment, office demands, must be able to mentally attend for at least 8 hours a day Other Responsibilities: Safety - Amentum enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment.
