About The Position

The Catalog Manager is a critical, independent contributor role responsible for strategically managing product data workflows, vehicle application updates , and dealer data integration. This role applies specialized automotive expertise and exercises independent judgment on matters of operational and strategic significance. Success requires exceptional attention to detail and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a data warehouse, such as SEMA data, PDM, other
  • 3+ years of project coordination, product operations, or automotive program management experience
  • Automotive knowledge (vehicle platforms, aftermarket components, fitment basics).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookup formulas, data modeling)
  • Ability to audit large datasets with precision and identify anomalies or errors
  • Independent Judgment: Ability to make decisions on operational matters of significance without escalation
  • Final Accountability: Acts as the final audit gatekeeper, ensuring all deliverables meet zero-defect standards
  • Operational Discretion: Authority to deviate from established procedures when necessary to achieve accurate outcomes
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Drives alignment and closes communication loops across teams as it pertains to product data
  • Detail Orientation: Maintains uncompromising accuracy across all data-driven tasks
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Responsibilities

  • New products, product lifecycle maintenance Apply specialized automotive knowledge to research new product applications
  • Execute discontinuations and supersessions
  • Produce dealer load sheets for the dealer network
  • Conduct research and prepare business cases to support product decisions and strategic initiatives
  • Draft complete, presentation-ready sales training materials for new product releases
  • General Data and Website Updates Research, update, and maintain vehicle applications/content data for “next year” and other OE updates, working within PDM, AWE’s Data Warehouse Loading/auditing vehicle applications/content data on www.AWE-Tuning.com , and AWE’s B2B Portal
  • Identify process gaps and independently create or revise SOPs, checklists, and workflows to improve quality and efficiency
  • Support additional website and content projects as assigned
  • Dealer Data and Communications Direct and execute dealer data projects, including special formatting, compliance rules, and required deliverables
  • Prepare and distribute communications to AWE’s dealer network regarding data changes, new product releases, and catalog updates
  • Work with marketing to notify consumers of product changes
  • Other Provide cross-functional support to Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations teams
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned based on business needs
