About The Position

The Phoenix VA HCS is seeking a dynamic Dietitian(Facility Program Coordinator) to join our Nutrition and Food service team! The Facility Program Coordinator will lead a multidisciplinary team in managing the MOVE! program and supporting the facility bariatric program. NOTE: The 2-page Resume requirement does not apply to this occupational series. For more information, refer to Required Documents below.

Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of the MOVE! program for the facility, assuring local compliance with national policy and direction.
• Provides direct weight management and bariatric patient care by developing and implementing comprehensive nutrition therapy, practicing within their scope/clinical privileges.
• Oversees all aspects for the MOVE! program, policy, and procedure development.
• Directs or participates in the design of studies, collects data, conducts statistical analysis, interprets findings, and translates results into written and oral communications.
• Plans and administers the facility MOVE! program, coordinates associated activities and resources, evaluates program accomplishments, redefines priorities, problem solves, and modifies objectives.
