What You’ll Do Oversee meal planning, preparation, and delivery to ensure alignment with dietetic standards and individualized nutrition care plans Monitor resident and patient intake, tolerance, and satisfaction; collaborate with care teams to address nutritional needs Provide nutrition education and serve as a resource for dietary questions, special diets, and modifications Ensure dietary services support interdisciplinary care planning and meet all regulatory and safety standards Support Dietary Services operations and staff management, including hiring, onboarding, and performance oversight Who We’re Looking For A Registered Dietitian (RD) with a bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or a related field, maintaining active credentials and continuing education requirements At least two years of experience in a clinical or long-term care setting (preferred) A compassionate professional skilled in geriatric nutrition counseling who can connect with patients and families from diverse cultural backgrounds A strong communicator who can educate, collaborate, and build trusted relationships with patients, providers, and care teams Someone who thrives in both clinical and operational spaces, with the ability to manage documentation, problem-solve, and maintain quality and compliance standards Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, staying calm under pressure and adapting as needed Willingness to become proficient in EMR and internal systems within six months of hire Must have an American Heart Association approved BLS card within 3 months of initial employment and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.
