About The Position
Grandview Rehab is seeking a compassionate and dependable Dietary Aide to join their team. The Dietary Aide will assist in preparing and serving meals to residents in accordance with established menus, dietary restrictions, and food safety guidelines. This role is essential in ensuring residents receive nutritious meals in a clean, welcoming dining environment.
Requirements
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful toward residents
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in food service or healthcare setting preferred
- Basic knowledge of food handling and sanitation helpful
Responsibilities
- Assisting with meal preparation and food service
- Setting up, serving, and cleaning dining areas
- Delivering meals to residents as needed
- Following dietary guidelines and resident meal plans
- Maintaining sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen and dining areas
- Supporting cooks and dietary staff with daily tasks
