Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required
- 3+ years diesel mechanic experience
- 3+ years trailer/tanker mechanic experience required
- Must have own tools and toolbox
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Effective prioritization and problem-solving
- Strong initiative and sound judgment
Nice To Haves
- Technical school preferred
- Registered Tanker Inspector preferred (training available)
- Tanker experience and CDL preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform truck and DOT 406/407 trailer maintenance and repairs
- Complete annual inspections and accurate documentation
- Troubleshoot issues and ensure equipment safety
- Communicate repair needs or delays
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized shop
- Additional duties as assigned
