Position Overview Conduct changeovers on Elbows presses and support operators in troubleshooting. Operate presses when not conducting changeovers. Assist in other tasks as assigned, such as labeling, cleaning, or participating in inventory counts. Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
  • +1 years’ experience
  • English proficiency and ability to read and interpret safety documents and operating instructions.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Keep attention to detail to identify maintenance, product, or operations issues.
  • Ability to complete repetitive tasks daily and meet production goals.
  • Ability to work frequently with peers and assist others when needed.
  • Excellent mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Can change out die and make adjustments to run new size on manual presses
  • Can run all aluminum and stainless-steel elbows on manual presses
  • Able to troubleshoot common problems.
  • Assist press operators when needed
  • Fill out daily elbows production report for setups and production
  • Inspect blanks for defects prior to run and inspect pressed elbows
  • Inspect press and die before beginning setup
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and/or overtime
  • Ability to manually lift, push or pull at least 50 lbs safely and with proper body mechanics
  • Perform other duties as assigned
