A day in your life When your shift starts, you’ll move from setup to production with precision and purpose: Inspect die condition and visually verify parts quality before and during runs. Remove and install die casting dies; dial in the machine to meet process parameters. Set up die cast machines for production; have your setup checked by a Supervisor or Group Leader before you start the run. Assist maintenance with repairs as directed to minimize downtime. Configure support equipment as needed: ladle, auto-spray, robotic systems, and trim press. Follow gauging/part check procedures and timing-based checks to ensure dimensional conformance. Work from verbal instructions and Process Sheets to meet safety, quality, and throughput goals.
