We’re looking for a Die Runner in our Die Shop who enjoys fast‑paced work, takes ownership of quality, and thrives in safety‑focused environment. Our Die Runner performs a variety of die distributing duties including but not limited to die set up, break down, safety inspections, general housekeeping and die cleaning (caustic) safely and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of production operations and experience in a manufacturing environment, especially extrusion operations preferred.
  • Ability to read and transpose numbers correctly is required.
  • Self-motivated, action orientated and accountable team member with good attendance.
  • Displays a positive attitude and works efficiently in a team environment or independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with small hand tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to service the presses by setting up dies according to the production schedule including duties such as locating, moving, and setting the die up by inserting it into the ring.
  • Ensures proper communication by labeling the dye correctly and staging dies to the designated area.
  • Details dies in die cleaning tanks, drains and or transfers spent caustic, and replace tank material as instructed.
  • Responsible to assist with assembly of the dies in the die shop and returns them to designated location after die correctors are finished preparing/repairing dies.
  • Safely operates a forklift and/or overhead crane.
  • Operates small hand tools including, but not limited to a hammer, allen wrenches, sawzall, air hammer and chisel.
  • Consistently properly wears required Personal Protective Equipment including, but not limited to metatarsals, sleeves, gloves, safety glasses, side shields, respirators and goggles.
