What You'll Do: Operate all functions and positions of the extrusion press safely and efficiently. Rotate through roles such as Head Stretch, Saw Operation, Production Support, and Material Support based on production needs. Inspect production samples to ensure they meet customer specifications. Load the press correctly to prevent damage and downtime. Perform routine operator maintenance to maximize equipment performance. Follow written and verbal instructions while maintaining a safe work environment. Use basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
Requirements
- Understanding of all roles within the extrusion operating team.
- Willingness to cross-train and work in various press operations.
- Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools like tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Experience in manufacturing or production operations; extrusion press experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Physical capability to handle demanding tasks.
