Crystal Finishing Systems located in the bustling town of Schofield, WI has an opportunity in our Extrusion department as a Material Handler. This Sunday-Thursda, 10pm-6am role plays a critical factor in our success. WHO WE ARE We are a team of over 900, and sales of over $150 million. Our services include aluminum extrusion, fabrication, architectural and industrial finishes, and more. WHAT YOU WILL DO Locates and identifies the correct material to be loaded in the age oven according to the schedule, or other designated reports. Responsible to deliver material from billet warehouse to presses and from oven to correct area. Enters and tags the accurate counts of materiel entering and exiting the oven. Transfer of scrap from presses to scrap trailers. Receives and unloads delivered billet. Performs inventory of billet stock and completes appropriate report. Tracks daily usage of billet by presses. Operates small hand tools including, but not limited to: a drill, punch, screwdriver, Webster and/or chop saw as necessary.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of warehouse and manufacturing standards normally acquired through six (6) months of experience in similar position desired.
  • Ability to read, count, perform simple math equations and accurately measure is required.
  • The position requires the ability to team-lift, load and carry items weighing up to 150 pounds.
  • All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience operating a forklift, four directional lift, scissors lift, and/or overhead crane preferred.
  • Previous experience with small hand tools beneficial.
