About The Position

DaVita is hiring a Dialysis Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease at their Rockside Dialysis outpatient clinic in Independence, Ohio. As a PCT, the individual will provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, assisting patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment. The position involves working 3-4 days/week with a minimum of two Saturdays/month, with shifts starting as early as 4:00 am. The clinic uses Fresenius Blue Stat 2018 T machines and has 16 chairs. DaVita offers a robust, paid training program for new dialysis teammates, which includes classroom and hands-on training, typically 32-40 hours per week. The company also offers clear career paths to higher levels of responsibility and compensation through a clinical ladder, and provides reimbursement for the Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) license.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
Willing to float between local clinics if needed
Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience

Responsibilities
