About The Position

DaVita is hiring a Dialysis Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease at their Rockside Dialysis outpatient clinic in Independence, Ohio. As a PCT, the role involves providing direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, assisting patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment. The operational hours for the clinic are MWF 4:30am - 7:30pm and TTHS 6:00am - 2:00pm. PCTs are expected to work 3-4 days/week with a minimum of two Saturdays/month, with shifts potentially starting as early as 4:00 am. The clinic utilizes Fresenius Blue Stat 2018 T machines and has 16 chairs. During M/W/F shifts, the team consists of 1 RN and 4 Dialysis Techs, while T/Th/S shifts have 1 RN and 2 Dialysis Techs. While hours may vary during the training period, teammates typically work between 32-40 hours per week during training. A flexible schedule is required, including availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
Willing to float between local clinics if needed
Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience

Responsibilities

Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
