About The Position

Ascension is recruiting a Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) fellowship trained radiologist to join its practice at Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital and local ambulatory sites in Baltimore, MD. The Department of Radiology is expanding and recently opened a full-service imaging center in Howard County. The role involves joining an established subspecialized team of 12 physicians and contributing to a mission-centered care environment. This job location is currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) and/or Medically Underserved Area/Population (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type.

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
Fellowship trained radiologist.
Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration.
Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
Experienced in providing services in the interpretation of X-ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, general Nuclear Medicine and Fluoroscopy.

Responsibilities

Provide services in the interpretation of X-ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, general Nuclear Medicine and Fluoroscopy.
Deliver high-precision diagnostic interpretations across a broad spectrum of modalities—including MRI, CT, and 3D Mammography—to provide clinical clarity for a diverse patient population.
Lead the diagnostic component of specialized care by performing advanced breast interventions.
Participate in weekly multidisciplinary tumor boards to guide life-saving treatment plans.
Share weekday evening coverage (until 10 pm) and weekend call (until 5pm) evenly amongst the radiologists.
