About The Position

Ascension is recruiting a Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) fellowship trained radiologist to join its practice at Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital and local ambulatory sites in Baltimore, MD. The Department of Radiology is expanding and recently opened a full-service imaging center in Howard County. The role involves joining an established subspecialized team of 12 physicians and contributing to a mission-centered care environment. This job location is currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) and/or Medically Underserved Area/Population (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type.

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Fellowship trained radiologist.
  • Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration.
  • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
  • Experienced in providing services in the interpretation of X-ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, general Nuclear Medicine and Fluoroscopy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide services in the interpretation of X-ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, general Nuclear Medicine and Fluoroscopy.
  • Deliver high-precision diagnostic interpretations across a broad spectrum of modalities—including MRI, CT, and 3D Mammography—to provide clinical clarity for a diverse patient population.
  • Lead the diagnostic component of specialized care by performing advanced breast interventions.
  • Participate in weekly multidisciplinary tumor boards to guide life-saving treatment plans.
  • Share weekday evening coverage (until 10 pm) and weekend call (until 5pm) evenly amongst the radiologists.
