This position is available for undergraduate students with junior or senior standing. This position MUST have at least one year of prior experience with justice and advocacy work, including attendance at IFTJ. This is a departmentally funded position for up to 6 hours/week. The Office of University Ministry creates a welcoming environment, accompanying our campus community on their varied spiritual journeys, and promotes opportunities to explore the connection between justice and spiritual identity. This position will support UMins’ efforts to engage the campus community in justice and advocacy work, taking particular responsibility for partnering with Ignatian Solidarity Network as well as supporting the Faith, Justice and Belonging Summit. The intern must be prepared to work with multiple programs (both internal and external to Regis), engage with peers to provide justice and advocacy education, research legislation and public policy, and develop strategies for engaging the campus community on a variety of justice and advocacy topics and activities.
