Requirements

  • Clearance: TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizen
  • 14+ years of Systems Engineering experience supporting programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, an additional 5 years of relevant experience may be substituted
  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Hands-on experience with Linux CLI in an operational setting
  • Expertise building and maintaining Kubernetes infrastructure and managing internal networking
  • Experience with system patching, SSP documentation, and navigating complex compliance environments
  • Familiarity with enterprise-level security standards, including STE/STN
  • Comfort using Jira and Confluence for technical collaboration
  • Strong grasp of Kubernetes networking, configuration, and deployment across secure environments
  • Proven ability to support compliance-driven sustainment activities with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent collaboration skills with both technical team members and mission stakeholders
  • Solid documentation and tracking skills using enterprise tools
  • Ability to adapt quickly to evolving security and mission needs

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Salt, and Ansible
  • Familiarity with Rancher, Helm, and advanced Kubernetes features
  • Working knowledge of observability tools like Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Grafana
  • Security+ (CWIP) or equivalent certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with a high-performing DevOps team to build and manage Kubernetes environments across secure platforms
  • Designing and maintaining Kubernetes network policies to ensure secure and efficient communication within clusters
  • Conducting system patching, maintaining System Security Plans (SSPs), and ensuring documentation meets stringent compliance requirements
  • Supporting system sustainment with full alignment to corporate STE/STN security compliance frameworks
  • Leveraging Atlassian tools like Confluence and Jira for documentation, tracking, and team coordination
