About The Position

The DevOps / Release Management Intern will support software build, deployment, and release activities across multiple environments. Working alongside experienced DevOps Engineers, this role offers hands-on experience with enterprise IT processes in a regulated insurance environment. Gain practical experience with DevOps automation, release management, and enterprise IT operations that support secure, reliable technology delivery within the insurance industry.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and DevOps concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, scheduling, and tracking software releases across development, QA, staging, and production environments.
• Follow established release management and change control processes.
• Support software builds and deployments using Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure and automation tools.
• Execute and maintain automated build and deployment scripts under the guidance of DevOps Engineers.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and QA teams to ensure smooth releases and clear communication.
• Help maintain security, documentation, and compliance standards.
• Identify and communicate potential risks or issues impacting releases.
