The Care Collaborative within the University of Colorado School of Medicine is seeking a Development & Implementation Coordinator to support the design, coordination, and delivery of innovative access-to-care programs. This role leads both the implementation of the Colorado Peer Education Program (CoPEP) in correctional settings and the coordination of statewide virtual ECHO series to expand provider knowledge and capacity. This position requires skills in on-the-ground program implementation, public health education, partner engagement, and coordination of both in-person and virtual programs. The role requires strong project management skills, comfort working across diverse environments, including correctional facilities, and the ability to support learning models that connect expertise to communities. The Colorado Peer Education Program (CoPEP) is an evidence-based, train-the-trainer model implemented in correctional settings to equip incarcerated individuals with the knowledge and skills to serve as peer health educators. The program focuses on reducing transmission of infectious diseases such as Hepatitis C and HIV, increasing access to testing and treatment, and supporting reentry readiness. ECHO Colorado (Extension for Community Health Outcomes) is a statewide tele-mentoring model that uses videoconferencing technology to connect specialists with community-based providers and partners. Through case-based learning and peer mentorship, ECHO programs build local capacity to manage complex health conditions and improve access to care across communities.
