Job Summary: We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Development Coordinator to join our team in Indianapolis, IN headquarter office. This position will be responsible for support and organizational functions for the Development team and SVP of Development. Key Responsibilities: The Development Coordinator will be responsible for tracking permitting process, coordinating with leasing and construction as needed, and enhancing the effectiveness of the Development department. Additional duties and responsibilities include the following: Organizes all filing, hard and electronic. Creates and organizes a system of tracking different functions within a development cycle. i.e. permits, construction, leasing, legal and finance. Provides an information flow to SVP, Retail Development that will need to be tracked from a historical purpose in order to project future objectives as well as status on individual projects. Provides backup in weekly meetings to coordinate agendas, as well as, record minutes. Provides administrative support to SVP, Retail Development. Provides clerical support within the office. Coordinates and arranges travel for SVP, Retail Development as well as other members of the Development team. Will serve as an additional resource to help interact with different groups within KRG to obtain the required information needed to make better decisions within departments. Will provide front office phone support as needed.

Requirements

  • Requires a minimum of one (1) year of support experience in a similar role / work environment.
  • Able to manage time and multiple tasks effectively.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting commercial real estate development team/process strongly desired.
  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferable; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Finance, Real Estate, or Legal experience preferred.
