About The Position

Angel Oak Mortgage Solutions is seeking a Developer Level II to support and enhance technology solutions that drive the wholesale mortgage process. This full-time role involves co-designing, building, testing, and implementing scalable applications in a collaborative, cloud-first environment. Ideal candidates are innovative, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering maintainable code that improves operational efficiency and supports business growth.

Requirements

Undergraduate degree in computer science related field.
3-5 years of relevant development experience.
Experience developing applications in cloud environments.
Proficiency in: NodeJS, TypeScript, Express.js
Microsoft SQL (database design and stored procedures)
RESTful APIs and Serverless Architecture
GIT version control in distributed teams
CI/CD
Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Vue, React, Angular).
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Must be living in United States-eligible to work in the US. No sponsorship available.

Nice To Haves

Experience developing Azure Web Apps and Azure Functions.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and project management.
Proficiency in C# .NET and VueJS.

Responsibilities

Independently develop and ship small features.
Collaborate closely with the team on larger engineering initiatives to ensure alignment, quality, and shared ownership.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to internal standards and best practices.
Support team members with technical challenges and contribute to code reviews.
Debug moderate technical issues and contribute to backlog triage.
Follow established change management protocols to maintain environment stability and traceability
