About The Position

As a “Developer II, IT Systems”, you will use system analysis, customer feedback, and stated project goals to develop and test transactional business systems (Finance, Operations, Sales) and automate business processes that enable, optimize, and scale end-user efficiency and effectiveness. Standout candidates will possess an intermediate to advanced understanding of SQL coding, report development (Crystal Reports) and demonstrate intermediate to advanced application development and robotic process automation skills in Microsoft Power Platform (RPA).This role will work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and Agile/Kanban project environment, supporting various manufacturing, financial, and technology initiatives. Standout candidates will possess excellent problem solving, communication, and customer service skills.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience developing and debugging intermediate to advanced SQL queries for business solutions built on MS SQL Server 2016+, SSMS, & SSRS (Required)
  • 3+ years’ experience in coding end-user business solutions with preference strongly given to Python (Required)
  • 3+ years’ experience developing RPA solutions (MS Power Automate, Automation Anywhere RPA) (Required)
  • 3+ years’ experience in integrated GL/ERP/CRM software development (NetSuite, Macola) (Required)
  • 3+ years’ experience in codebase repository, source control, and version control systems (Bitbucket, Git)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and independently, tackling complex problems
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders across organizational boundaries
  • Engages in ongoing continued education opportunities and proactively brings opportunities for improvement to team, direct manager, and business stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment (Preferred)
  • Experience working with at least one cloud technology ecosystem such as AWS or Azure (AWS Preferred)
  • Fundamental knowledge of connected API data controls (MS Graph, Postman)
  • Demonstratable project work built on SDK/API components and platforms
  • Willingness and desire to learn and apply advanced IT and project management principles and tools
  • Self-motivated and self-starter

Responsibilities

  • Code, optimize, and validate advanced SQL queries in business application (ERP/WMS/CRM) and reporting platforms (Crystal Reports, SQL/SSRS, DOMO).
  • Develop modern business applications integrated with Office365, Exchange, Teams, and enterprise cloud-based data sources.
  • Experience in robotic process automation and Power Platform development.
  • Familiarity with version and change control platforms (Bitbucket).
  • Guide customers remotely and in person through system configuration, testing, training, and maintenance.
  • Leverage project Kanban and scaled agile methods (JIRA) to track and communicate project requirements.
  • Engage with IT Support Manager and systems analysis team (IT Project Manager) to escalate and collaboratively resolve issues requiring complex SQL-based technical solutions.
  • Interface with stakeholders to define, train, and validate system requirements, utilizing end-user appropriate language and tools.
  • Proactively identify, record, and escalate blockers and risks to operational effectiveness or system availability/stability.
  • Develop and update technical documentation (JIRA Confluence) and assist in delivering end-user training.
  • Other duties as assigned by IT leadership team.
