About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: The Developer 1 performs problem solving tasks of simple complexity. Writes, configures, builds and/or modifies software, tools and/or application programs and participates in unit testing of modified components. Develops skills in design and problem solving. Participates in training opportunities to further develop technical skills. Develops logic skills necessary to learn computer programming language concepts and techniques as well as software applications and tools. Useful knowledge of structured application analysis, design, and database practices. Learns and adapts to continuously changing technology. Effectively communicates in a courteous and professional manner. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Performs problem solving tasks of simple complexity. Creates flow charts for technical analysis so that the project team can understand the data flow. Develops skills in design and problem solving. Participates in training opportunities to further develop technical skills. Develops logic skills necessary to learn computer programming language concepts and techniques as well as software applications and tools. Useful knowledge of structured application analysis, design, and database practices. Learns and adapts to continuously changing technology. Effectively communicates in a courteous and professional manner. ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree OR Associates degree in an Information Technology related program with 0-2+ years of experience
• A certificate of training or expert in one of the systems supported
• 0-2 years experience
