About The Position

Overview Provide clerical support for the counseling staff and program manager of the Substance Abuse programs. This is a 3rd shift position and pays $16.00/hr. Responsibilities Answer telephone and assist callers as needed, complete client “initial screening sheet” and file for future use and review. If applicable, assist the night nurse with client care – ie alert clients when needed by the nurse for vital checks and medications. Prepare client meal list daily, issue client meal tickets, secure meals for clients confined to the Detox floor. Ready clients for breakfast, escort to dining room, if needed. Complete daily “team leader” report, fine in Manager’s mailbox. Coordinate cleanliness of client rooms, bathrooms, day room and common areas on the Detox floor. Complete laundry and clothes washing as needed. Complete filing of client records – yellow and white cards on top of the filing cabinet Other duties as designated by the ADAS manager and/or Executive Director Qualifications High School diploma or GED Must be able to routinely lift and carry boxes weighing 50 pounds or more. Must be able to use stairs, when necessary, for building evacuations, drills or during elevator maintenance. Read and write legibly. Good communication skills. Current CPR/First Aid certification or in process of obtaining. Requirements
